July 22 (12-1pm ET) - ABA Leadership Round Table Series - Leadership Without Buy-In: Why Vision Isn’t Enough

Leadership literature often points to two keys for moving people into action: creating a compelling vision and generating buy-in. But what if those aren’t actually separate?

In this interactive roundtable for ABA business leaders, we’ll explore a different possibility: that people move when they create a future for themselves—not when they simply adopt ours.

We’ll briefly examine research and leadership perspectives that support this view, then turn to a practical discussion:

  • What actually creates ownership?
  • Why do some people run with an idea while others comply—or resist?
  • How do you know when someone truly sees themselves in the future you’re inviting?

Expect thoughtful conversation, real examples, and the chance to connect with other leaders who are actively building teams, culture, and capacity.

In this Supervision CE event

With a small group of industry leaders, we will explore leadership as a practice, focusing on the behaviors that result in people owning and acting toward a vision.  Participants will
  • Participants will provide a definition of leadership as a behavior defined by it’s function.
  • Participants will identify one practice they can take to their teams and a way they can measure its effect.
Identify and develop areas for growth.
